Did you know?
The kiwi is a small bomb of vitamin C. With 80 to 120 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of fruit, it is better than the orange. A single fruit would be enough to cover the recommended daily intake.
The kiwi matures after harvest, so do not worry if it is not yet ready at the time of purchase. You can store them for up to 4 weeks in your fridge as it matures. If you want to ripen a kiwi faster, store it at room temperature next to an apple. Indeed, apples release a lot of ethylene, a gas that accelerates the ripening of some fruits including kiwis.
Gently put the kiwi slices on your preparation in the mold.
Cook the clafoutis in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 ° C / 375 ° F.
After 45 minutes of cooking, your clafoutis is cooked.
Let cool a few minutes, then cover with icing sugar before tasting cold or warm.
