Ginger-lemon drink

Thirst quencher! To get a break from water…

Ingredients for 1 liter of drink

  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 yellow lemon
  • 50 g of fresh ginger

The ginger amount depends on your taste. Its flavor is pronounced, so be careful not to use too much. Similarly, if you want less acidity, reduce the amount of lemon.


Step 1:

Boil the water in a saucepan. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

Step 2:

Peel the ginger. Cut the ginger into slices and put in boiling water.

Step 3:

Remove the skin of the lemon. Cut the lemon into pieces and put in boiling water.

Step 4:

Put a lid on the pan and let steep out of the heat for 15 minutes.

Step 5:

After 15 minutes of infusion: filter the preparation with a strainer.

Step 6:

It’s up to you to choose the drinking temperature!

At room temperature, on ice cubes or hot like tea…

Great property of this drink: excellent tonic to help digestion, it relieves spasms and colic by enhancing relaxation of the intestines.
