Quick to make, these meatballs have a scented and marrow savour. Served with their sauce (more or less spicy according to taste) they will be the most beautiful effect in your plate…
Ingredients for 2 persons
For the meatballs:
- 200 g of ground beef
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of dried garlic
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil to cook the meatballs
For the sauce:
- 400 g of chopped tomatoes and their juice
- 1 fresh onion
- 1 fresh green bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder. If you want a less spicy dish, just put a pinch!
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil to cook the sauce
In a plate, mix ground beef with onion powder, dehydrated garlic, chopped parsley, soy sauce, a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.
When the ingredients are well mixed, make a compact ball and let it rest in the refrigerator during the preparation of the sauce.
Prepare the onion: cut the ends, peel the onion, remove the seeds and wash with water. Slice and cut the onion into small pieces.
Prepare the bell pepper: cut in half, remove the peduncle, remove the white parts then wash with water to remove seeds. Slice and cut the bell pepper into small pieces.
In a saucepan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil and fry the bell pepper and onion pieces for 2 minutes over high heat. While cooking, add paprika and chili powder. Mix.
Pour the chopped tomatoes and their juice into the saucepan. Add a few pinches of salt. Mix. Put a lid on the pan and cook on low heat (power 3/10) for 10 minutes.
Prepare a soup plate with flour and an empty plate on which the shaped meatballs will be placed.
Cut the meat mixture into 8 equal portions. Roll a portion of meat preparation between the palms of your hands until you get a ball.
Roll the meatball into the flour: the meatball must be completely covered with flour.
Place this floured meatball on a plate. Repeat step 5 until you obtain 8 meatballs.
In a frying pan, heat a tablespoon of olive oil and grill the meatballs. Regularly return the meatballs until all the sides are well roasted.
Put the meatballs in the sauce pan. Mix.
Continue cooking the meatballs and their sauce for 10 minutes over low heat (3/10). Stir regularly.
After 10 minutes of cooking, your dish is ready to be eaten.
Serve hot with pasta, rice or semolina.
