Baked chicken fries

Fried chicken, crispy and fluffy at the same time … baked without any drop of oil!

Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 400 g of chicken fillet
  • 50 g of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of milk
  • 150 g of plain bread crumbs

For seasoning breadcrumbs:

  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of dried garlic
  • ½ teaspoon of onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 pinch of pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 350 ° F

Step 1:

Cut the chicken into strips.

Step 2: preparation of the coating of chicken pieces

Bowl # 1: Put the flour

Bowl # 2: Break the eggs and beat them omelette.

Bowl # 3: Put the breadcrumbs and add the herbs and spices seasoning mixture. Mix.

Step 3:

Take a piece of chicken: cover with flour (bowl # 1), then dip in the egg (bowl # 2) and finally cover with seasoned bread crumbs (bowl # 3).

Place the piece of coated chicken on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Repeat step 3 for all chicken pieces.

Step 4:

Bake for 20 minutes at 180 ° C / 350 ° F, flip halfway the chicken pieces.

Serve hot immediately after cooking.
