Beef and Carrot Rolls

A simple recipe for extra crispy rolls, with a carrot and beef stuffing!

Ingredients for 2 persons

  • 200 g of ground beef
  • 400 g of grated carrots
  • Mild curry powder to measure to your taste
  • Salt
  • 8 rice paper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil


Step 1:

In a frying pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and fry the ground beef.

Step 2:

When the beef is cooked, add the grated carrots. Mix and season to taste with salt and curry.

Step 3:

Put a lid on the pan. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring regularly.

At the end of cooking, let the mixture cool.

Step 4: rolls preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F / 180 ° C.

Put a rice paper in cold water for a few seconds to soften it, then place it on a clean board.

Put in the middle of the rice paper 1/8 of the beef-carrot mixture.

Close the rice paper on itself by folding the edges inward to enclose the ingredients. Place the roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Repeat step 45 to make the other rolls. Take care to separate the rolls on the baking sheet to prevent them from sticking to each other.

Step 5:

Coat rolls with oil (1 tbsp).

Bake the rolls in the oven for 15-20 minutes; turn them halfway through cooking.

Stop cooking when the rolls are well grilled.

Serve hot.

Enjoy with a green salad for a light meal or with a portion of white rice for a more satiating meal.
