Baked salmon with dill

An easy, quick and delicious way to cook salmon fillets …

Ingredients for 1 person

• 1 salmon fillet with skin

• 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (olive or sunflower)

• 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh dill

• Fine salt

• Ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 ° F / 200 ° C.

Step 1:

In a small bowl, combine all of the oil, salt and pepper.

Spread mixture with a brush or the back of a spoon to evenly coat the salmon.

To finish, sprinkle the chopped fresh dill over the salmon.

Step 2:

Place salmon, skin side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 400 ° F / 200 ° C for 12-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the salmon.

Leave the skin on your salmon until you are done cooking it. Always cook salmon with the skin side down as this will help protect the fillet from heat and help the salmon retain its juices and cook evenly. When it’s time to serve the salmon, the skin comes off very easily when you slide your fork between the tenderloin and the skin.

Serve the salmon immediately after cooking.
